PROBLEM:
I have brick on my home where the brick ends on the corners are a different color. It looks like there is no coating on some of the brick. Can this be repaired?
DESCRIPTION:
The problem description indicates you may have a Used Effect Brick on your home. These are usually called UEB Brick. UEB brick are reprocessed with a colored cement slurry after they are fired. The brick are suppose to simulate an old salvaged brick; therefore, the coatings are supposed to be irregularly applied.

The picture below is an example of this type of problem. Note the extremely red brick near the top of the photograph.

SOLUTION:
You can easily touch up the brick after they are laid. This will require the same slurry that was originally applied to the brick. Most brick manufacturers will gladly furnish some of their mixture, ask your salesperson
