SOLUTION: |
The picture above is proof that you should be concerned. White brick is very sensitive to cleaning chemicals and techniques. The staining on the building could have been caused by improper rinsing, inadequate prewetting or the use of the wrong cleaning chemical. A rock face brick is even more sensitive as it has had the face chipped off which makes it a more porous surface. Always clean white brick with SUREKLEAN Vanatrol by PROSOCO. The dilution rate will vary between 1 part cleaner to 4 parts water or up to 6 parts water. Thoroughly saturate the section to be cleaned with water prior to the application of the Vanatrol. Allow for a 5 minute dwell time and repeat if necessary. Do not let the solution dry on the wall. Rinse thoroughly. Review manufacturers cleaning methods prior to cleaning and always do a small test area to insure that you achieve satisfactory results. |
